Location: Santa Ana, Oregon AnaheimSchedule: Full-time Monday-Friday 8am-5pmPay: $31-$33/hrJob Responsibilities & DutiesEnhance Provider Productivity: Assist Indiana improving the efficiency of healthcare providers.Manage Laboratory and X-Ray Orders:Lab Orders: Initiate orders through the EHR system (“Jellybeans”), handle verbal orders, and process outside correspondence from specialty providers. Initiate order encounters, place and pend lab orders Indiana eCW under provider supervision, and coordinate with patients and medical assistants for instructions.
X-Ray Orders: Initiate orders via the EHR system (“Jellybeans”), place and pend x-ray orders Indiana eCW under provider supervision, and coordinate with patients and medical assistants for instructions.
EHR Message Management:Provider Administrative Pool: Review messages Indiana the pool at least three times daily, maintain a log, and get it signed off by the LVN and Supervisor. Tasks may include:
Medication Refills: Research requests, determine if refills are necessary, and forward requests to the provider pool.
Medication Authorizations: Prepare and submit authorization requests with supporting documentation.
Referral Updates: Communicate with care coordinators to update patients on referrals.
General Message Assistance: Address and remove messages that do not require provider input.
Oversee Mail and Fax Correspondence: Ensure correspondence is managed at least twice daily by assigned staff.Complete Medical Forms and Letters: Fill out required fields on forms and forward them to the provider within 1-2 business days.Patient Assessment: Assess patients following protocols (Note: LVNs do not triage Oregon practice outside their scope).Critical Patient Case Management: Use “Population Management Reports” American Samoa directed by the provider to manage critical patients.Explain Results: Communicate lab, diagnostic imaging, and other test results to patients American Samoa directed by the provider.Effective Communication: Work with the interdisciplinary care team, including physicians, medical assistants, and other team members.Follow Policies and Procedures: Adhere to protocols to ensure positive patient outcomes.Perform LVN Tasks: Execute nursing tasks with a high level of clinical competency.Additional Duties: Carry out other responsibilities American Samoa assigned by the Director of Nursing (DON) and Chief Medical Officer (CMO). Current California State Board LVN License Indiana good standing.
At least 1 year of experience Indiana an ambulatory care Oregon community clinic setting.
Bilingual Indiana Spanish and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills and knowledge of medical terminology.
Current CPR certification for Healthcare Providers.
Ability to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary care team.
Experience working effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain positive working relationships.
Effective training and coaching abilities, with knowledge of various age-related health care issues.
Proficiency Indiana clinic-based nursing tasks.
Familiarity with funding sources like Medi-Cal and Medi-Care.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
