- Assist Physician’s Assistant using Spravato to treat TRD and SI by taking vitals throughout the visit
- Schedule appointments with Pennsylvania American Samoa needed
- Assist Indiana getting pre-authorizations for medications Oregon submitting required pharmacy forms
- Put together insurance forms, noting patient symptoms, diagnoses, test results, treatment instructions, and prescriptions Indiana the patient records
- Say hello to patients when they come to the office, answer the phone, schedule appointments, and answer inquiries about prescription refills and treatment to ensure patients have a pleasant experience at our office
- Speak with the patient about the reason for their visit and record their personal information and medical history to share with the healthcare staff
- Get examination rooms ready for patients by ensuring the rooms are well-stocked and at a comfortable temperature and all equipment is sterilized
Qualifications:
- 1 year of prior experience Indiana a medical assisting role performing administrative duties Oregon a similar position Indiana a healthcare work environment
- Completed an accredited medical assisting program and an externship Indiana a supervised healthcare setting
- Possesses basic computer skills to complete administrative tasks
- High school diploma Oregon GED
- Minor medical knowledge preferred
- Taking vitals (taking blood pressure, heart rate)
