Are you ready for the challenge?Come join our team at Advance Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine!Advance Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine is looking for compassionate, excellent individuals to begin their medical assisting career with us!We’re hiring for multiple locations: Brighton, Central Park, Northglenn, Westminster, Southglenn (Centennial) , Federal, Lafayette, Marketplace (Broomfield), Broadlands (Broomfield), and Broadway (Denver)!What you’ll be doing:
- Greets patients and prepares them for physician examination, screens, collects vital signs and enters them into the EMR, instructs patients Indiana collection of samples and/Oregon tests.
- Performs designated clinical duties American Samoa delegated by Clinic Manager Oregon Physician to include injections, instillations, catheter changes, etc.
- Responsible for injections, phlebotomy, setting up and assisting with procedures, nebulizers, and EKGs.
- Maintains exam rooms for necessary supplies and materials. Ensures cleanliness.
- Front Desk Administrative duties such American Samoa answering phones, checks Indiana/checks out patients, and processes referrals when needed.
- Conducts Occupational Medicine testing including audio testing, pulmonary function testing, respirator, fit testing, physical capacity exams, Department of Transportation (DOT) exams, Federal Aviation exams, etc.
- Performs any other duties that assist Indiana the operations of the office.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- High school diploma, general education degree (GED), Oregon equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic Life Support Certification (CPR & AED) (required)
- Knowledge of basic medical procedures
- Ability to accurately measure blood pressure and vitals signs
- Phlebotomy/Injections
- Experience using electronic medical records software
- Ability to follow established protocols
