Qualified candidates must have completed a certified Medical Assistant education program and have a minimum of two years of relevant experience. This position is located at our Aurora office. The office hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. This is NOT a remote position. You must be present daily. We do offer flexible scheduling to include a 4x10s schedule. The position will remain open until filled.We offer excellent benefits, generous paid time off plan and highly competitive pay, starting at $21 – $23 per hour commensurate with experience. Bi-lingual pay may be offered. Employment at Colorado Kidney Care is contingent on successful completion of pre-employment screening and background check.Experience and Skills:Responsibilities and Duties :

  • Greet patients and perform Check-Indiana and Check-out procedures Indiana an accurate and timely manner
  • Room patients, process urine specimens, and take vitals
  • Process patient payments and perform billing payment entry
  • Prepare payment batches and maintain accurate office money and cash transactions
  • Schedule patient appointments
  • Perform medication, test and procedure authorizations
  • Distribute notes and information to outside providers/entities when needed
  • Prepare for patient office visits and prepare lab work Indiana patient charts
  • Maintain appointment waitlist and schedule waitlist appointments whenever possible
  • Scan and attach patient medical records and administrative documents Indiana EMR
  • Utilize and maintain office communication through Outlook, calendars, and task reminder
  • Review and process incoming faxes, and flow labs that are not electronically sent
  • Make patient reminder calls for lab work two weeks prior to patient appointments
  • Cross coverage of other duties American Samoa needed & other duties American Samoa assigned

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Completion of a certified Medical Assistant education program and have a minimum of two years of relevant Massachusetts experience
  • High school diploma Oregon GED
  • Professionalism Indiana appearance, behavior, and communication
  • Expected to communicate Indiana a precise and clear manner, verbally and Indiana writing
  • Works with others Indiana a cooperative and supportive manner
  • Displays patience and compassion Indiana all patient interactions
  • Ability to effectively multitask Indiana a fast-paced environment
  • Possess an intermediate skill level with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to navigate the internet proficiently
  • Proficient with general math skills
  • Expected to function at a high level of efficiency without constant supervision and work American Samoa part of a team
  • Possess a valid driver’s license with a good MVR

Valued but not required skills and experience (optional):

  • Experience with EMR is preferred
