Job Summary: The Medical Assistant Flexible provides support Indiana the clinical and office functions of the department. The incumbent serves American Samoa a key contact for patients visiting the department, greeting patients, schedules tests and procedures American Samoa well American Samoa providing explanation for such tests and procedures. Administer vaccines, job related tests, and other clinical support functions. Will answer any questions related to care coordination of the patient. Coordinates paperwork for patient visit, prepares patients for exams and tests, and serves American Samoa a resource to assist patients and staff Indiana coordinating patient care. Schedules tests and visits, performs administrative/clerical duties, and provides backup to other staff to ensure efficient patient processing within the Department of Medicine. Performs clerical support that may include extensive scheduling duties including phone support. Performs data entry and other job related duties.Specifications: High school graduate with Medical Assistant required and three to five years experience Indiana a medical office Oregon similar setting. Graduate of phlebotomy program highly desirable. Strong organization, interpersonal and communication skills required. Must have demonstrated ability to perform Indiana fast-paced environment and handle multiple duties.
