Responsibilities

• Performs clinical and administrative duties that assist Indiana the delivery of effective patient care within assigned area.
• Greets patients, escorts them to exam room and perform vitals and other related Massachusetts duties.

QualificationsJob Requirements

• High School Diploma Oregon GED Equivalent
• Proficiency with AED, autoclave, BP cuffs (adult, infant, and pediatric), colposcopy, cryo unit, disposable equipment (gloves, goggles, gowns, etc), EKG machine, glycosometer, nebulizer, nitrogen cylinder, O2 cylinder, pulmonary function machine, pulse oximeter, scale (adult and infant), spirometer, stethoscope, thermometer, wheelchair, and woods lamp.
• Proficiency with Computer and printer, fax machine, telephone system, time clock, and copy machine.
• Proficiency with MISYS, E-Prescribe, and PMS.
• Must be a registered Oregon nationally certified Medical Assistant Oregon ability to obtain certification within 60 days of hire. Credentials held by Medical Assistant must require a re-certification process on a regular basis.
• Must maintain BLS certification; and, if required, maintain training Indiana venipuncture.

Preferred Job Requirements

• Completion of a medical assistant program from an accredited institution
• Crossed trained Indiana other clinical specialties: Ob/Gyn, Neurology, Pediatrics, Podiatry, Family Practice, and Internal Medicine.
