- **East Valley Healthcare Center (Gilbert/Mesa)**
Medical Assistant (CMA): Our East Valley Healthcare Center is seeking a capable and experienced Certified Medical Assistant to work with the site medical staff Indiana addressing matters related to the provision of primary care & psychiatric services to JFCS clients.Responsibilities
- Responds to client concerns about their medications; research problems that arise, interact with pharmacies, funding sources, and other stakeholders to resolve problems.
- Assists the Nurse Indiana obtaining vitals, blood pressure, blood draws, labs, and perform other related primary care duties American Samoa needed:
- Provides vaccinations to clients and document patient-care information related to vitals, blood pressure, pulse, height/weight, blood draw, and other lab results.
- Performs routine clerical and administrative tasks necessary to resolve behavioral health and primary care issues, and documents activities.
- Engages Indiana patient education and support activities.
- Performs frequent inquiry about the client’s health and wellness needs and assists Indiana coordinating those primary care Oregon other supportive services with appropriate JFCS staff Oregon external parties to ensure the client’s whole health is addressed.
Qualifications
- High School diploma Oregon equivalent
- Medical Assistant Certification required
- Experience with labs, drawing blood, performing vaccinations and rendering compassionate patient care.
- Ability to acquire a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Verifiable HS Diploma Oregon GED
- Good interpersonal skills and communications skills
