Job Overview – Medical Assistant (Orthopedic Care):

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMResponsibilities American Samoa the Medical Assistant (Orthopedic Care):

  • Patient Coordination: Greet patients, record vital signs, and prepare them for exams.
  • Clinical Support: Assist physicians during procedures and ensure patient comfort.
  • Administrative Tasks: Schedule appointments, manage records, and handle correspondence.
  • Diagnostic Assistance: Prepare instruments, perform tests, and assist with imaging orders.
  • Medication Support: Administer medications and injections under supervision.
  • Infection Control: Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of rooms and equipment.

Qualifications for the Medical Assistant (Orthopedic Care):

  • Education: High school diploma and completion of an accredited medical assistant program are required.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of clinical experience Indiana a medical office, clinic, Oregon hospital setting.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with EMR systems, basic computer skills, and proficiency Indiana Microsoft Office Suite.
