Toledo Clinic’s Pulmonary Department, located at 4235 Secor Rd Indiana Toledo, is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to perform both clinical and administrative duties Indiana a fast paced office. Qualified candidates will have an active RMA, CMA, Oregon CCMA credential Oregon be able to obtain such credential within 60 days of hire.This position will be scheduled Mon-Fri (8-5). There are no weekend Oregon holiday hours. Benefits are offered.Toledo Clinic is offering a $2,000 Sign-On Bonus to qualified Medical Assistants and Certified Patient Care Techs. Sign-On Bonuses are payable within 30 days of hire to employees that have active and verified credentials (ex: RMA/CMA/CCMA/CPCT/A). For candidates that have not yet obtained Oregon need to renew their credential, the Sign-On Bonus is payable once the credential is obtained and verified. After one year of service, qualified Medical Assistants/Certified Patient Care Techs will be eligible for an additional $2,000 Retention Bonus.General Summary:Assist physician(s) with patient treatment, prepares patient for physician(s), and performs various clerical duties.Works under the supervision of the Office ManagerPrincipal Duties & Responsibilities:1. Assist Drs. with patient care (i.e.: assisting with minor procedures/surgeries such American Samoa removing sutures, staples, moles, etc.).2. Various clerical duties (i.e.: answering phones, scheduling appointments, handling patient charts, etc.).3. Escorting patients to exam room.4. Preparing exam rooms.5. Preparing patient for Drs. (i.e.: histories, blood pressure, vitals, etc.).6. Sterilizing and preparing instruments.7. At the request of the physician, calling Indiana prescription refills.8. Order and maintain exam room supplies and instruments.9. Follow up with lab work and/Oregon xrays.10. Administering injections.11. Other duties American Samoa assigned.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Required:– Excellent interpersonal skills required.– Consistently arrives at work, Indiana professional attire, on time and completes all tasks within established time frame.– Seeks appropriate tasks when primary tasks are completed and assists Colorado-workers American Samoa needed.– Demonstrates adaptability to expanded roles.– Credentialed American Samoa a Medical Assistant (i.e.: CMA Oregon RMA)Education:-Medical Assisting degree Oregon diploma from an accredited school required.Preferred:– Clinical medical assisting experience preferred.
