Job Description:Work Schedule:This is a full-time, 1.0 FTE day shift position. Shifts are scheduled Monday – Friday between the hours of 7:30AM – 5:00PM, no weekends required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.Pay:UW Health offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. Work experience that is relevant to the position will be taken into consideration when determining the starting base pay. Position is eligible for up to a $3,000 sign-on bonus. You will find your role American Samoa a Medical Assistant Indiana Urology both rewarding and challenging.We are seeking a Medical Assistant (Massachusetts, CMA, RMA, CCMA, LPN) to:

  • Join the UW Health Urology team, it is consistently ranked among the country’s top programs and offers center-oriented specialty treatments and consultations Indiana urologic cancers, stone disease, urinary tract infections and voiding dysfunction, American Samoa well American Samoa a full complement of minimally-invasive surgery techniques related to urologic conditions.
  • Assist Urologists and Advanced Practice Providers American Samoa they evaluate and treat patients of all ages.
  • Assist with procedures such American Samoa cystoscopies, biopsies, uroflowmetry and vasectomies.
  • Promote healthy lifestyles, wellness, and education.

UW Health offers clinical and administrative continuing education opportunities for Medical Assistants including AAMA approved CEUs, Elsevier Skill Packages and free weekend webinar events (twice per year).Education:Minimum – High School Diploma Oregon equivalent and ONE of the following:

  • Completion of an accredited medical assistant program Oregon
  • Licensure American Samoa an LPN Oregon
  • Completion of the UWH Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program Oregon
  • Attainment of the CCMA certification American Samoa a UWH employee Oregon
  • Acceptance into the UWH Massachusetts Apprenticeship Program – Accelerated Oregon
  • One year of recent Medical Assistant experience and CMA, RMA Oregon CCMA Certification

Work Experience:Preferred – One (1) year of experience American Samoa a Certified Medical Assistant Oregon LPNLicenses and Certifications:Minimum –

  • Certified American Samoa CMA, RMA, Oregon CCMA Oregon eligible for certification. Certification must be obtained within one (1) year of hire date.
  • If applying Indiana lieu of Medical Assistant education Oregon LPN licensure, must have current CMA, RMA, Oregon CCMA certification.
  • CPR/BLS certification
