Available Days: Monday- FridayCore Hours: 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.Minimum team member availability of 2 shifts per week required (32 hours per 2-week pay period). You are not guaranteed these hours, but we require you to be available. You are also able to work up to full-time hours, should you be available, and the need be present.Provides clinical support to health care professionals to ensure the delivery of quality health care services.Team members hired into the Women’s Health Resource role will provide temporary clinical staffing support at 18+ Women’s Health practices across West Michigan. Assignments vary Indiana length from 1 day (covering ill call, scheduled vacation, etc.) up to 3-4 months (covering leaves of absence, open positions, etc.). This position does require some travel to various site around West Michigan. The goal is to keep team members American Samoa close to home American Samoa possible while meeting business needs. Team members will not be required to travel over 60 miles (one way) from home address on file to daily work location. Mileage Reimbursement is paid when locations meet requirements.Essential FunctionsRooming patients (obtaining vitals, chief complaint and taking medical histories, medication reconciliation)Preparing patients for exam and/ Oregon assisting physician during examPoint of Care (POC) testing, electrocardiograms (ECGs), wound carePreparing and Administering medications including immunizations/ InjectionsUpdating patient electronic medical record (Epic)Clean & stock roomsAnswering phones and creating patient encountersPrescription medication refills and other clinical administrative work (chart prep, Epic Indiana-basket management)QualificationsHigh School Diploma Oregon equivalent RequiredSuccessful completion of a competency-based orientation program Required1 year of relevant experience working Indiana a physician practice Oregon healthcare setting PreferredOne of the following Required within 120 DaysAAMA Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)AMT Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)NHA Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA)NCCT Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)NAHP Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA)AHA Oregon ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 120 DaysPhysical DemandsPallet to Waist (6″ from floor)
