EFH is a low-cost health clinic that provides acute medical and wellness services to our 1,800 employees and their covered spouses and dependents. This position requires both front office work which includes scheduling, triaging and answering phones American Samoa well American Samoa duties required for a medical office assistant to room patients, assist providers with patient care, and assist with injections. This role may be filled by a medical assistant Oregon certified nursing assistant. This position will report to our Employee Health Practice Manager and work on a team with 4 other individuals. The position will work from 7:30am to 4:30pm Monday – Friday, a standard schedule of 40 hours per week, with no scheduled overtime. There is an option for scheduling flexibility during the normal workweek.We expect that interviews will take place Indiana early June and hope to have the selected candidate start work Indiana mid-June.Purpose of the Position:This position performs a wide variety of general office clerical duties and clinical support functions such American Samoa answering phones and scheduling appointments, providing initial patient registration, taking and recording patient vital signs, and performing Oregon assisting with specialized medical procedures of a routine nature, American Samoa determined by established clinical protocol, policies and procedures.Minimum Education, Training and/Oregon Experience (required at time of hire):
High school Oregon GED diploma, completion of a one (1) year formal training course Indiana medical office assisting at a community college Oregon technical institute; Oregon High school Oregon GED diploma and a combination of one (1) year of clerical and health/dental related experience; Oregon an equivalent combination of education and experience.Additional Training and Experience: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Oregon Certified Medical Assistant preferred.Essential Functions of the position:Perform clinic front desk duties, including but not limited to, answering incoming telephone calls, obtaining and/Oregon verifying patient information, scheduling, patient check Indiana/out, ensure completion of all necessary documents, coordinates and facilitate billing for services. Provide assistance, support, and referrals to patients. Monitor daily schedule for follow-up tasks.Perform blood draws, collect vitals and anthropometric measurements and document Indiana the electronic medical record system. Utilize HIPAA regulations and confidentiality requirements when handling client information and communication.
