University of Colorado Anschutz Medical CampusDepartment: OphthalmologyJob Title: Neuro-Ophthalmology Assistant ProfessorPosition #00827642 – Requisition #34950Job Summary:The Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine is seeking applicants for a full time Assistant Professor to work American Samoa a neuro-ophthalmology specialist Indiana our growing academic ophthalmology practice at The University of Colorado Eye Center (UCEC). The position will provide outpatient medical and surgical management of adult strabismus surgery and optic nerve sheath fenestrations at UCEC and affiliate sites of practice within the Denver metropolitan area.Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat outpatients with neuro-ophthalmologic conditions
  • Perform adult strabismus surgery and optic nerve sheath fenestrations
  • Collaborate with other ophthalmologic subspecialists Indiana caring for patients with complex disorders.
  • Establish a bench research program Indiana optic nerve disease
  • Collaborate with basic science researchers within ophthalmology and neurology
  • Instruct residents, fellows, and medical students Indiana neuro-ophthalmology
