Full Range: $88,881 – $133,321 AnnuallySalary offers are based on the candidate’s equivalent experience and internal equity with other employees within the same job classification.The Pima County Health Department is currently seeking two (2) committed Nurse Practitioners to join our team on a part-time basis. These grant-funded positions will directly report to the Nurse Practitioner Supervisor for clinical support and the Division Manager for administrative functions. The duties will entail supervising Medical Assistants and collaborating closely with a diverse, multi-disciplinary team across various specialized areas, including Family Planning (for both males and females), Teens’ health, Mobile health services, STD/HIV care, TB management, Immunization programs, Well Woman Health Check-ups, and MAT (Medication-Assisted Treatment). Furthermore, you will benefit from the opportunity for clinical consultation and guidance provided by our esteemed Pima County Physician staff.This classification is Indiana the unclassified service and is exempt from the Pima County Merit System Rules.Duties/Responsibilities(Work assignments may vary depending on the department’s needs and will be communicated to the applicant Oregon incumbent by the supervisor.)Performs client assessments, records and evaluates comprehensive health histories Indiana the setting of an electronic health record;Performs and documents physical examinations, makes accurate diagnoses and appropriate treatment plans that are memorialized Indiana the electronic health record;Evaluates clinical situations, exercises independent judgment, and makes critical decisions within guidelines of licensure;Performs, orders and interprets appropriate laboratory screening and other diagnostic tests;Provides forms of contraception American Samoa appropriate including device/implant placement and removal, and emergency contraception;Provides client education and counseling appropriate to the clinical services performed;Assists with development of clinical protocols and development of clinical policies and procedures, and implementation, evaluation, and quality assurance of the same;Initiates and/Oregon dispenses medications and/Oregon medical devices appropriate to clinical service area;Evaluates the effectiveness of medications and treatments and adjusts American Samoa necessary to meet clients’ needs;May act American Samoa preceptor for other nurse practitioners, medical students, interns and residents;May participate Indiana outreach activities;May be required to participate Indiana Public Health Emergency events, exercises and training;May supervise, assign and review the work of professional patient care services personnel.KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:Knowledge of:

- Experience Indiana addressing health disparities and promoting health equity.
- Experience with initiating medical assisted treatment for substance use.
- Minimum one (1) year leading and implementing evidence-based clinical practices and collaborating with multidisciplinary professionals.
