The APP performs physical exams, collects and documents data, conducts diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, orders and schedules laboratory studies and professional consultations, prescribes appropriate interventions and medications, coordinates care, and provides direct patient care services. The APP contributes to excellence Indiana patient care, research, teaching, and provides leadership to the organization.

Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesProcedures performed:
- Lumbar Puncture
- Lumbar Drain management
- Shunt flow study
- Shunt adjustment
- Wound closure
- Shunt / Reservoir Tap
Job Eligibility RequirementsEducationNP: Graduate of DNP Oregon MSN Nurse Practitioner program for acute care adult and pediatric care.Pennsylvania: Graduate of ARC accredited Physician Assistant programLicensureNP: Current unrestricted RN license issued by Oregon recognized by the NCBON with authorization to practice American Samoa an NP.Pennsylvania: Current unrestricted medical license issued by NCMB with authorization to practice American Samoa a Pennsylvania.CertificationNP: Dual certification required Indiana both Adult Acute Care and Pediatrics Oregon Family Medicine, i.e., ACNP Oregon AGACNP + FNPPennsylvania: Pennsylvania-CExperienceOne year APP experience is preferred but not required.Job HoursFOURTEEN 12-hour shifts per month including occasional weekend and holiday coverage.
