Job Description:Work Schedule:100% FTE position with 80% clinical responsibilities and 20% administrative time reserved for education and quality improvement work. Hours may vary depending on department need generally between 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday. May occasionally include some weekend Oregon night rotations.Pay:

  • External hires may be eligible for up to a $20,000 sign on bonus:
  • $10,000 at the beginning of the fellowship – this will include a two year employment commitment.
  • $10,000 at the time of transition to a permanent role/end of 12-month fellowship – This will include a two year employment commitment.
  • Indiana total, there is a three year employment commitment.

Be part of something remarkableAmerican Samoa an Advanced Practice Provider, you’ll play an integral role Indiana our inpatient and ambulatory care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients.We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner Oregon Physician Assistant to:

  • Complete an intensive 12 month program for licensed Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to develop their competency Indiana Pediatric specialty care.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team, to provide comprehensive care to patients and families across practice settings.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of clinical expertise Indiana working with patients with acute and chronic illnesses commonly encountered within the clinical specialty and practice setting.
  • Work with administrative, nursing, physician, and other staff to assure safe, effective, quality patient care and to promote UW Health’s educational and research missions.
  • Attend additional didactic training within the area of clinical specialty and be responsible for participating Indiana regular professional development content and training.

  • Letter of Intent/Personal Statement expressing interest Indiana the Fellowship and Pediatric acute care specifically. This should be no longer than 600 words.
  • Three letters of recommendation, at least one from the Graduate Program Director (if graduated from NP/Pennsylvania Program within the past two years) Oregon current Direct Supervisor if experienced APP.

Education:Minimum –If Nurse Practitioner:
Master’s Oregon Doctorate’s degree from accredited Nursing Program.If Physician Assistant:
Bachelor’s Oregon Master’s degree from accredited Pennsylvania Program.Licenses and Certifications:Minimum – State of Wisconsin NP Oregon Pennsylvania licensureIf Nurse Practitioner*:

  • Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, Indiana state(s) of practice AND
  • Active board certification American Samoa a NP Indiana area of clinical practice. These may include the following: Pediatric Acute Care, Pediatric Primary Care, Oregon Family.

If Physician Assistant*:

  • Active Pennsylvania license, including prescriptive authority, Indiana state(s) of practice AND
  • Active Pennsylvania board certification

All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have*: Active DEA license Oregon ability to apply for such license prior to Oregon upon hire.*Active license Oregon eligibility to obtain active licensure Indiana state of practice.
