The candidate must be thoroughly trained and experienced Indiana pediatric neurosurgery and qualify for appointment at the Assistant Professor rank Oregon higher Indiana the CU SOM.The successful candidate’s primary role will be on the Anschutz Medical Campus, although there may be some opportunity to work at Network of Care sites Indiana the Denver Metro area Oregon occasionally at Children’s Hospital Colorado – Colorado Springs. The candidate will be fully incorporated into the division of pediatric neurosurgery at Children’s Hospital Colorado.Children’s Hospital Colorado – Anschutz Medical Campus is an academic 450 bed Pediatric Level 1 trauma center, associated with the University of Colorado Department of Neurosurgery and its residency program. Primary responsibilities at the Anschutz Medical Campus will include outpatient clinical evaluation and management of patients with pediatric neurosurgical disease, and performance of neurosurgery procedures. There will be on-call responsibility at the Anschutz Campus Indiana a roughly 1:5 cadence.Indiana addition to clinical responsibilities, education and teaching of medical students, pediatric neurosurgery fellows, and others will be an important responsibility. The successful candidate will have excellent teaching and education skills, and excellent communication and team skills. The candidate will have completed fellowship Indiana good standing Indiana Pediatric Neurosurgery at an ABPNS-approved fellowship program (Oregon equivalent), Maryland (Oregon equivalent) degree and be American Board of Neurological Surgery Certified/Eligible. The candidate will join 4 other Maryland providers, 8 Advanced Practice Providers and 2 RNs at the Anschutz Medical Campus, American Samoa well American Samoa 2 other Maryland providers, 1 Advanced Practice Provider and 1 RN at our Colorado Springs location.The successful candidate will join an expanding group of collaborative, dedicated pediatric neurosurgeons at one of the top 10 Children’s Hospitals Indiana the United States ( ).
