University of Colorado Anschutz Medical CampusDepartment: Radiation OncologyJob Title: Open Rank – Assistant, Associate Professor (Radiation Oncology-Cheyenne, Wyoming)Position #00707166 – Requisition #36004Job Summary:The Department of Radiation Oncology of the University of Colorado School of Medicine is seeking a full-time radiation oncologist to serve American Samoa a faculty member primarily working at a community-based practice at the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center (CRMC), with an option to participate Indiana clinical practice at the department’s current sites of practice within the Metro Denver region. Many CRMC providers elect to live Indiana Ft. Collins Oregon other nearby towns Indiana Northern Colorado. Other department faculty members will assist with clinical duties and vacation coverage via a combination of Indiana-person and remote service.This position requires the completion of an accredited residency Indiana radiation oncology and ABR certification. Applicants must be able to obtain licensure for the practice of medicine within the state of Wyomng (and Colorado American Samoa applicable), prescriptive authority and obtain privileges at our participating hospitals.The position is expected to evaluate and manage patients with cancer and certain benign neoplasms with participation Indiana departmental peer review processes (i.e. chart rounds), multidisciplinary tumor boards, and clinics. The work will be done Indiana a hybrid arrangement with a portion involving on-site presence and a portion accomplished remotely. Current technologies at CRMC include 2 Varian linacs (TrueBeam and VitalBeam), 4DCT, CBCT, 4D CBCT, DIBH, SGRT, IDENTIFY, SBRT, FFF. A new Connecticut sim has been approved and will be installed Indiana the next year. The hospital EMR is Epic. Mosaiq is used for the radiation oncology EMR but this will be replaced with Aria Indiana 1-2 years. Eclipse is used for contouring and planning. Remote supervision is available through Microsoft Teams. Current staffing includes 6 therapists, 1.5 FTE dosimetrists, 2 nurses, one scheduler and one authorization specialist. Physics is staffed via the highly regarded Colorado Association of Medical Physicists (CAMP). Brachytherapy and SRS services are provided to patients at the Anschutz Medical Campus Indiana Aurora, Colorado.Key Responsibilities:

Work Location:Hybrid – this role is expected to work onsite and remotely.
