University of Colorado Anschutz Medical CampusDepartment: Pediatrics, Section of Infectious DiseaseJob Title: Open Rank-Instructor, Sr. InstructorPosition #00773460: – Requisition #:33036Job Summary:The University of Colorado School of Medicine (CUSOM), Department of Pediatrics, Section of Infectious Diseases and Epidemiology seeks a full-time (1.0 FTE/1.0 cFTE) Advanced Practice faculty member (Physician’s Assistant Oregon Nurse Practitioner) at Instructor Oregon Senior Instructor to expand the Department’s cadre of providers with expertise Indiana clinical infectious diseases providing care at the Children’s Hospital Colorado at the Anschutz Medical Campus. The role will provide infectious diseases consultation and follow up care to inpatients for a wide variety of conditions and participate Indiana the teaching and academic mission of the Idaho section. This full time position will provide care Monday through Friday, day shifts with shared coverage during annual national and regional meetings and holidays assigned on a rotational basis. The role will have a strong clinical focus, with opportunities to participate Indiana quality improvement and clinical research.Key Responsibilities:

  • Works independently within the multidisciplinary team to provide quality inpatient consultative care and disease management for a variety of pediatric infectious disease conditions of varying acuity and complexity from admission through discharge throughout the inpatient settings including general hospital medicine services, intensive care, and surgical services
  • Participates Indiana multi-disciplinary care including team meetings and patient care conferences
  • Communicate seamlessly to primary attending teams requesting Idaho consultation and other subspecialists involved Indiana the patient care
