This position will play a fundamental role Indiana setting a positive patient experience for Indiana-person and telehealth visits. This position will be entirely Indiana-person. The Medical Assistant (Massachusetts) Oregon Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) is responsible for providing patient care under the direction of a physician Oregon another healthcare provider. The Massachusetts works to facilitate clinic workflow, assist patients, and ensure safe, seamless delivery of care for each patient.Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately rooms patients, obtain & records vital signs, patient history, and reason for seeking care.
  • Accurately processes and records telephone messages Indiana patients’ medical records according to policy.
  • Assists Indiana preparing prescription refills for providers and according to policy.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality, written and verbal.

  • Completion of an accredited medical assistant program Oregon one year of medical assistant work experience.

Certified Medical Assistant:

  • Completion of an accredited medical assistant program.
  • One year of medical assistant work experience.
  • Current CMA certification (i.e. AAMA, NCCT).

Conditions of Employment:

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers issued by the American Heart Association Oregon American Red Cross healthcare provider-level CPR certification.
  • Maintains all required licensure and certifications for the position.
