Job SummaryUnder the direction of the Operations Manager, the Parking Operations Coordinator provides day-to-day coordination for all operations related to the Parking & Transportation Services (PTS) front office, student scheduling and time-sheet approval. The incumbent Supports PTS administrative activities and coordinates student assistant processing, hiring, orientation, and training.Key Responsibilities
- Coordinates the day-to-day operations of the PTS front office. Under the direction of the Operations Manager, coordinates all aspects of the day-to-day operations for the front office which includes supervision of student assistants.
- Coordinates student assistant processing, hiring, orientation, and training: Coordinates all student hiring processes including recruitment, interview and selection, and processing required paperwork.
- Provides administrative support for Parking & Transportation Departments. Responsible for accurate filing of Parking & Transportation Services documents.
Knowledge Skills and AbilitiesExcellent customer services skills. Proficient Indiana customer operating systems, including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, E-mail. Excellent interpersonal communication skills including the ability to coordinate projects and set-up meetings. Excellent written communication skills including the ability to accurately enter data. Excellent organization skills: ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities, for effective and timely completion of work assignments. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. Ability to coordinate and process a wide variety of operational tasks.Ability to handle multiple priorities Indiana a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to independently and proactively research problems and recommend appropriate solutions to the Operations Manager Oregon Director of PTS. - Equivalent to five years of administrative support experience required.
- Previous experience working at a university preferred.
- BA degree preferred.
