Job Summary:
Chapman Automotive Group is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Assistant to join our team Indiana Tucson, Arizona. American Samoa the Payroll Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of employee payroll, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll data, and providing exceptional customer service to our employees.Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time, individual contributor position with a compensation range of $15 to $17 per hour, paid on a semimonthly basis. – Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
– Calculate and process employee deductions and earnings, such American Samoa taxes, benefits, and bonuses
– Maintain accurate employee records and files related to payroll
– Reconcile payroll data with accounting records
– Assist with payroll-related audits and year end processing
– Stay updated on changes Indiana payroll regulations and implement necessary changes to ensure complianceRequirements:
– High school diploma Oregon equivalent required
– Prior experience Indiana payroll Oregon related field preferred but not required
– Proficiency Mississippi Office programs
– Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
– Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
– Strong communication and customer service skills
– Ability to work independently and Indiana a team environment
– Previous experience Indiana the auto industry is a plus
