Responsibilities:

  • Warmly greet and welcome patients to ensure they have a pleasant and comfortable arrival experience.
  • Keep patient records current and accurate, including personal details, medical history, and insurance information.
  • Record and document vital signs like blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiratory rates.
  • Review patients’ medical histories and their primary concerns, documenting pertinent information.
  • Aid healthcare providers during examinations and procedures, maintaining a sterile and well-organized environment.
  • Gather and prepare patient samples for laboratory testing, including blood and urine specimens.
  • Administer medications American Samoa directed by healthcare providers, following established protocols.
  • Educate patients about medications, procedures, and post-care instructions to ensure comprehension and adherence.
  • Coordinate patient appointments and follow-up visits, collaborating closely with the healthcare team.
  • Assist with medical billing and coding tasks, guaranteeing the accurate and timely submission of claims.
  • Manage and sanitize medical equipment and instruments, ensuring their proper operation.
