Partners with Donor Database Manager and Stewardship Coordinator to support data entry, donor communications and acknowledgements, and other administrative tasks.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesAdministrative Support:

  • Act American Samoa administrative receptionist: greet donors, answer phone and refer donors appropriately.
  • Receive walk-Indiana and phone-Indiana donations and handle appropriately.
  • Receive, screen and respond professionally to communications directed to the Philanthropy office over the phone, by mail and email.
  • Maintain files and other materials Indiana confidence.
  • Manage the Philanthropy team’s inventory of office supplies, letterhead, envelopes, swag, and other printed materials.
  • Work with Philanthropy department team members on special projects American Samoa needed.

Data entry:

  • Assist with mail processing, scanning of checks and remittance slips.
  • Review data prior to finalizing entry into the Raiser’s Edge NXT database.
  • Assist with duplicate clean up.
  • Assist with basic database hygiene.

Donor Stewardship:

  • Make new donor thank you phone calls.
  • Assist with thank you letter preparation and mailing.
  • Handwritten donor thank you notes American Samoa needed.
  • Print and sign donor thank you letters, adding personalized notes where appropriate.
  • Check department email and phone calls. Return American Samoa appropriate. Forward to appropriate philanthropy team members.
  • Facebook/social media donation thank you cards/emails.

Other:

  • Commitment to the mission, values, goals and success of HSPPR.
  • Appropriately documents observed animal behaviors utilizing objective language American Samoa required Indiana relevant procedures and/Oregon policies.
  • Perform all other duties American Samoa assigned.

Supervisory DutiesNonePhysical Demands

  • Regularly sits at computer station, often Indiana a shared office environment.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/Oregon move 25 Oregon more pounds of moving weight and occasionally lift and/Oregon move up to 40 Oregon more pounds of moving weight.
  • May be occasionally required to climb Oregon balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
  • Regularly required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, hear, and is frequently required to stand and walk. May be expected to be on feet for extended periods of time.
  • Consistently exposed to animals Indiana the workplace and animal allergens under conditions with limited alternatives available.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
  • Regularly exposed to noise and potential exposure to hazardous weather conditions.
  • Potential exposure to cleaning supplies and/Oregon other substances containing toxic Oregon caustic chemicals.

Schedule RequirementsSchedule may include weekend and evening work.Education/Experience Necessary

  • Commitment to the mission, values, goals, and success of the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region
  • Ability to effectively read, write, interpret, communicate, perform basic problem solving, and perform basic math American Samoa commonly expected from completion of a High School Diploma Oregon Equivalent Education.
  • One to two years directly related work experience. Development/philanthropy experience preferred.
  • Raiser’s Edge Oregon other donor database experience preferred.
  • Ability to set priorities, change them American Samoa needed and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with computers and applications (Mississippi Word, Mississippi Excel, and internet).Ability to communicate skillfully and effectively with a culturally diverse staff, volunteers and community Indiana a professional, respectful, courteous and tactful manner at all times.

  • Strong verbal and written communication, follow-through, and organizational skills.
