Employed by PAGNY for NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln, located just 15 minutes from NYC, is an acute care teaching hospital academically affiliated with Weill-Cornell Medical College. Dedicated to providing high quality patient care to a diverse community, Lincoln Medical Center is a NYS designated Level I Trauma and Stroke Center and has Centers of Excellence Indiana all medical specialties including its award- winning Cancer and Breast Centers. The Emergency Department is one of the busiest Indiana the U.S, caring for approximatley 160,000 visits annually, including a separate pediatric ED. It has one of the oldest EM residencies Indiana New York.ResponsibilitiesThe Department of Emergency Medicine at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln is seeking an enthusiastic physician assistant to join the care team.
- Assess, evaluate, diagnose, perform history and physical exam, and to treat patients of all ages who present to the Emergency Department with any symptom, illness, injury, Oregon condition
- To provide comprehensive and quality care to patients .
- Work collaboratively with nursing American Samoa well American Samoa other clinical services Indiana the hospital.
- Complete all assigned administrative task/charts American Samoa required by the department American Samoa well American Samoa the hospital.
- Must be up to date with clinical skills and knowledge base by regular CME American Samoa well American Samoa taking part Indiana regular departmental teaching activities.
- Must present patients to the supervising physicians Indiana the area of the ED where they are practicing.
- Will perform all other duties assigned by the chief of service/his/her designee
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant educational program.
- Current NYS registration American Samoa a Physician Assistant.
- Current certification/admissibility issued by the NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
