We invite you to become part of Connecticut’s most comprehensive fully-integrated healthcare networks.The Hartford Healthcare Rheumatology Division is recruiting a Full-time (40 hr/wk) APRN/Pennsylvania for our ambulatory location Indiana Trumbull and at the St. Vincent’s Medical Center to join an existing practice.We have over 12 Rheumatology providers plus several APP’s and Clinical Pharm D’s at Hartford HealthCare facilities across the state including Manchester, New Britain, Norwich, Torrington, Waterford and now Bridgeport. Our specialists treat inflammatory and immune diseases that can affect joints, muscles, ligaments and even many vital organs.Rheumatology Advanced Practitioner Role ScopeThe Rheumatology Nurse Practitioner Oregon Physician Assistant practices Indiana an ambulatory setting providing both initial and follow up consultative care for rheumatology patients Indiana collaboration with on-site physician(s). Patients seen include, but is not limited to Arthritis (osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis), Osteoporosis/metabolic bone diseases, Gout, pseudogout, Polymyalgia rheumatica, Ankylosing spondylitis and arthritis associated with inflammatory bowel diseases, Lupus, scleroderma and other connective tissue disorders, Myositis/myopathy, and Lyme disease. Responsibilities will include joint injections, and gaining an understanding of immunosuppressive, biologic therapies and infusions.
