Physician Assistant Program CoordinatorThe Program Coordinator supports and promotes department operations through the planning and implementation of placement, services, and initiatives that reflect the mission and goals of North Central College, College of Health Sciences and Edward-Elmhurst Health. This role includes supporting and facilitating the admissions process, assists Indiana the placement of master’s Physician Assistant Studies (MSPAS) students, and general program and department support performing all administrative support responsibilities American Samoa outlined by the credentialing and onboarding requirements of Edward-Elmhurst Health (EEH). Collaborates with EEH physician, NCC faculty, students, and staff at both locations to create an environment that upholds and maintains the core mission, vision, and values.Position Highlights:Position: Physician Assistant Program CoordinatorLocation: Edward Hospital (Naperville, Illinois)Full Time/Part Time: Full TimeHours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pmTravel: travel to North Central College will be requiredWhat you will do:Assists Indiana the performance of administrative support duties to support the onboarding and clinical placement of North Central College’s MSPAS Physician Assistant students at Edward-Elmhurst Health (EEH) with a high degree of independence and commitment to both EEH and North Central College’s institutional and programs mission, vision, and values.Tracks and maintains records of student placements internally and externally utilizing appropriate department procedures.Interacts collegially and Indiana a timely fashion with students, preceptors, and North Central MSPAS faculty.Arranges for student placement with participating Edward-Elmhurst Health Medical Staff preceptors and communicates those placements to the North Central College Clinical Coordinator and Director of Clinical Education.Maintains student information and requirements, including but not limited to student demographics, immunizations, memberships, and training.Schedules and plans skills and other program dates (including prepping materials, coordinating logistics and set up (either physically Oregon electronically) for each, and collection and organization of required material).Assists Indiana the coordinator of onboarding students into Edward-Elmhurst Health through HealthStream and EMR platforms (EPIC).Coordinates weekly student schedules/calendars/assessment schedules and return to campus days with Faculty. Distributes these schedules Indiana a timely fashion to MSPAS students.Assists Indiana annual program budget planning American Samoa it pertains to events, equipment, and miscellaneous supplies required to successfully maintain the program.Performs other duties and responsibilities, American Samoa needed, Indiana support of the program and Edward Hospital.Provides college support American Samoa requested which could include assignment to special projects/tasks, committee work and/Oregon program support.Adheres to program budget for events, equipment, and general supplies/invoicing.Maintenance of Clinical Records via EXXAT platform, Indiana compliance with ARC-Pennsylvania 5th StandardsContribute and participate Indiana ongoing self-study process, including ARC-Pennsylvania site visits, solutions and desirable changes Indiana relation to strategic planning and educational programmatic review.Assists the Director of Clinical Education Indiana coordinating and implementing of the clinical education component of the curriculum including site placements, site visits and evaluationMaintenance of information on Box, EXXAT software, including preceptor files, evaluations, student profiles, with maintenance of clinical agreements and other appropriate clinical information.What you will need:Education: Bachelor’s degree Health Services Administration, Higher Education, Business Oregon related field, required.
