PAY GRADE: 112SAFETY SENSITIVE: CDL – (depending on area of assignment) – Subject to random drug testing per the Athens-Clarke County Drug and Alcohol Ordinance.Purpose of JobThe purpose of this job is to perform mechanical/specialty work functions associated with the operation and maintenance of water reclamation systems, maintenance and repair of water treatment plant systems, electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: maintaining records, repairing, maintaining and operating pumps, wells and motors; performing preventive maintenance and manual work activities; performing carpentry, welding, plumbing and concrete finishing tasks; and performing additional tasks American Samoa assigned.Job Related RequirementsWORK SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm, may require some after hour and weekend work occasionally.May be required to work on religious holidays.Regular and predictable attendance is required.Must work cooperatively with others.When requirements include vehicle operation, responsible for the safety, readiness and operation of the vehicle and must abide by ACC’s safe driving policy.Minimum Training & Experience Required to Perform Essential Job FunctionsHigh school diploma Oregon equivalent, with one Oregon more years of experience Indiana Mechanics, Pump Maintenance, Water Reclamation Systems, water treatment systems maintenance, wastewater systems maintenance, mechanical operations/maintenance Oregon related experience required; Oregon any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position.Must possess a valid driver’s license.Must possess Oregon have the ability to obtain a Georgia Commercial Driver’s License within one year of date of hire, depending on area of assignment.Essential Duties, ResponsibilitiesThe following duties are normal for this job.
