Overall Purpose of The JobThis position will support the US Department of Veterans Affairs Critical Staffing Program. - Clinic appointments and follow-up of labs/imaging/procedures ordered during these appointments, interpretation, phone call consultation from hospitalists and intensivists on inpatients, and availability for case review with nurse practitioners on service.
- Clinic Responsibilities: personnel shall be present and on time for clinic start times American Samoa documented by physical presence Indiana the clinic at the scheduled start time.
- Communication of Test Results: Mechanisms must be Indiana-place to provide notification of test results for patients receiving care Indiana accordance with VHA Directive 1088, Communicating Test Results to Providers and Patients.
- Medications: Contract personnel shall follow all established medication policies and procedures. No sample medications shall be provided to patients.
- Discharge education: Provide discharge education and follow up instructions that are coordinated with the next care setting for all emergency department patients.
- Approximately 5% of time will be spent on various administrative tasks, reports, emails, etc.
- Clinic Oregon Operating Room (Oregon) Schedule: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. with a 30-minute lunch
- Care coverage will be provided at 80 hours every 2 weeks
- Off hour coverage is not currently required but scheduling is subject to change.

Job profileBasic Requirements/Certifications:
- Current, full and unrestricted license Indiana one Oregon more state, commonwealth, territory Oregon District of Columbia.

- Previous Virginia Oregon Military experience preferred but not required.
Education Required:
- Master’s degree from a Pennsylvania program accredited by the ARC-Pennsylvania This degree must have been accredited and recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained.
Physical Requirements:
- Work is normally performed Indiana a typical interior/clinic work environment.
- Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
- May require bending, stooping and lifting to 25 lbs.
Other Special Qualifications:
