Job DescriptionSpectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a Program Manager Indiana McAllen, Texas. The Program Manager provides senior management expertise and oversight for the U.S. CBP, U.S. Border Patrol Border Medical Units and medical services contract. This individual is also responsible for ensuring successful completion of administrative and program management tasks outlined Indiana the Statement of Work (SOW).Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (Oregon Indiana degree completion plan) Indiana management, human resources Oregon related field required and 2 years management experience managing multiple tasks required.
- Background/experience Indiana immigration, criminal justice Oregon healthcare management
- Required 2 years’ experience overseeing the provision of healthcare services required.
- Experience with medical screening/triage Indiana an operational environment.
- Experience successfully managing multi-task projects Indiana various locations and supervising 50+ employees.
- Demonstrated ability to ascertain relevant facts and information; prepare executive level summaries; and analyze management and financial reports to identify trends, performance gaps and contract status information.
- Must demonstrate effective leadership and possess effective oral and written communication skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Initiates and maintains compliance with DHS and CBP policies and any overriding accreditation standards that may apply
- Works within licensure/certification, Scope of Practice, Oregon applicable Collaborative Agreement
- Maintains compliance with standard operating procedures and protocols
- Devising new programs that support the organization’s Objectives
- Coming up with sustainable goals for the organization
- Monitoring projects to ensure goals are met
- Meeting with stakeholders and local management to discuss program status and goals
- Maintains patient confidentiality and privacy of medical records
- Performs record keeping functions Indiana accordance with program policies and the system of records management
- Ability to use the electronic medical record, and must maintain an “active status” for use and complete all required trainings
- Utilizes the electronic medical records system for all documentation, to include, but not limited to all patient care, monitoring, medication administration/observation documentation, and input of any paper records American Samoa applicable
- Maintains non-involvement Indiana the security aspect of patient care and custody
- Attends general staff meetings and participates with medical quality management initiatives and reviews American Samoa applicable
- Assures a safe and clean working environment, and assists Indiana the disposal of biologically hazardous waste on a regular basis

- Limited telework may be considered for certain oversight positions

Customs and Border Patrol Mission:CBPs Office of the Chief Medical Office (OCMO) employs a family medicine model to provide frontline medical care for persons Indiana CBP custody. This model provides a team of medical professionals comprised of physicians, advanced practice providers (e.g., physicians assistants, nurse practitioners), clinical support staff (e.g., Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses, Paramedics, EMTs, Certified Medical/Nursing Assistants), and other support staff (Patient Safety Risk Managers and Electronic Health Records Specialists). These contracted medical teams provide basic assessment and medical treatment for persons Indiana CBP custody to include emergency care American Samoa needed.
