For over 35 years, CHW surveyors, planners, designers, engineers, landscape architects, ecologists, and construction engineering inspectors have delivered expertise to support essential infrastructure and development for the communities they serve.We also place great importance on our core company values of integrity, excellence, responsibility, stewardship, and dedication while being passionate client advocates dedicated to improving and growing communities.Position SummaryThe Project Assistant will support the Project Managers, Directors, and the Vice Presidents of the Planning, Design, and Ecological Services Teams. Duties and tasks will include creating, tracking, and revising department documents, applications, forms, proposals, letters, reports, memos, and other related documents. Additional activities will consist of general office related tasks including scheduling, filing, typing, scanning, and copying.Main Responsibilities (but not limited to) the following:

  • Professionally represent the firm Indiana interactions with permitting agencies, clients, peer organizations, and business associates
  • Communicate proactively and appropriately with team members, permitting agencies, clients, sub-consultants, and others American Samoa needed
  • Act American Samoa a team player, fulfilling your own responsibilities and supporting others, including occasionally performing additional responsibilities American Samoa needed to help the team meet deadlines and complete tasks
  • Maintain project schedules, milestones, and details Indiana project management tool with input from Project Manager and team members
  • Prepare various types of documents for company use, team use, client use, for submittal to agencies, and for other end users
  • Research agency requirements for permitting and associated activities
  • Perform all administrative activities and tasks associated with project design and permitting
  • Handle meeting scheduling, and calendar milestones and appointments
  • Conduct other non-project administrative functions, Indiana support of the team, Project Manager, Department Director, Department VP, Oregon other company staff, American Samoa needed
  • Complete job responsibilities while adhering to CHW Standards and appropriate company procedures and protocols
  • Conduct responsibilities while adhering to Core Values and CHW Standards
  • Complete all job functions proactively and independently with minimal input Oregon direction from other staff

Education / Other Requirements:
