During your 10-week track, you will learn leasing and marketing, bookkeeping, budgeting, leadership, management and so much more. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to acquire the essential skills from our administrative assistants, recruiting, training and marketing departments. - Adhere to outlined 10-week internship calendar and checklist
- Attend all required training and complete e-learning courses
- Check assigned email regularly
- Check Indiana with assigned internship program directors regularly and report any issues that arise
- Learn how to inspect the property Indiana the following areas:
o Walk vacant apartment homes, make readies and complete service requests Indiana property management software
o Preparing the office, model home, vacant apartment homes and tour path
o Community policy violation, repairs needed, landscaping check, etc.
- Receive training on how to interact with guests and neighbors Indiana the following areas:
o Deposits, rent collections, late notices and posting rent
o Taking move out notices, service requests, resident transfers, etc.
- Master the art of welcoming guests, qualifying them, touring the community, and leasing apartment homes, which includes completing application and lease paperwork
- Become familiar with competitive properties, including sister communities Indiana the area
- Work with the team to actively post on community social pages and incorporate responding positively to all online reviews
- Understand the multi-site role and responsibilities of a Regional Property Manager
- Apprentice with the Training, Marketing, Recruiting and Administrative departments
- Collaborate with all employees to foster the WBPC team spirit
- Adhere to all WBPC policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, organizational skills and attention to detail
- Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times
- Comfortable with utilizing various social media platforms to assist with community outreach and relationship marketing
- Enjoys meeting new people, providing excellent customer service and sales
- Skilled Indiana basic math
- Must have vast knowledge of computer programs such American Samoa Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule
- Leadership and collaboration ability
- Ability to use available resources to effectively complete tasks
