Job Type: RegularResearch Project Coordinator for Education & LaborRAND Research Administrative Operations has an exciting opportunity for a Research Project Coordinator (PC) who will serve Indiana a role American Samoa Quality Assurance Coordinator (QAC) for the Education and Labor division (50%), along with other similar project management activities that will be determined at time of hire (50%). Indiana the role of QAC, the PC will be responsible for executing a wide variety of detail-oriented activities American Samoa part of division operations. Under the general direction and supervision of division management, the PC will perform various tasks related to supporting the administration of divisions’ publication and quality assurance (QA) processes, including:Track key deliverables from project kickoff through to the QA review process, ensuring all QA requirements are metDevelop and manage QA review schedules, ensuring deadlines are met and project teams and reviewers remain on schedule.Liaise with Quality Assurance Manager (QAMs) Indiana assigning external and internal reviewers for peer review of research documentsSupport generation of subcontracts and payments with external peer reviewers and coordinate external review processesMaintain and regularly update QA tracking databases including schedules, status updates, and recordsFacilitate communication between authors, reviewers, division management, and other internal stakeholders.Correspond with reviewers and authors to notify them Indiana a diplomatic way about deadlines.Support public release requests and report publication and dissemination processesCollect data for various reports and providing basic qualitative and quantitative analysisMonitor the QA budgets and provide status updates to the QA manager(s)Plan and implement improvements to QA processes and systems to increase efficiency of operations and precision Indiana implementing QA standards with fidelity.The PC will work closely with divisions’ Quality Assurance Managers (QAMs), division production editors, and other supporting elements Indiana the QA and publications process. The QA process will facilitate review of a wide range of research products ranging from research reports to research briefs, tools, infographics, commentaries, and other alternate forms of research communication. The PC will also provide support and guidance to RAND research staff on the QA process. The PC may also serve American Samoa a backup for other operational components within the divisions when required, American Samoa well American Samoa engage with other PCs, Research Financial Administrators, and administrative assistants to facilitate any operational aspects of the Division’s financial obligations and requirements.Required Qualifications
