Job Overview – Registered Nurse Pediatrics:
Seeking an experienced Pediatric RN for an outpatient clinic in the Bronx, NY. This position offers consistent daytime hours with a competitive hourly rate and requires a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.Location: Bronx, NY.
Compensation: $50-$55/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-4:30 PM or 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, with a requirement to work one Saturday per month on a rotational basis.Responsibilities as a Registered Nurse Pediatrics:

  • Provide high-quality patient care, ensuring safety and integrating the patientÂ’s cultural background into care.
  • Perform clinical and administrative functions, including patient screenings, triage, and implementing various health interventions.
  • Utilize the nursing process for direct patient care and assist patients through the healthcare system as an advocate and navigator.
  • Prescribe, delegate, and coordinate all care for assigned patients.
  • Supervise care provided by LPNs and medical/office assistants as applicable.
  • Support patients in self-management of diseases and behavioral modifications.
  • Coordinate patient care continuity with external healthcare organizations and facilities.
  • Communicate effectively within a care team and ensure awareness of a patientÂ’s care plan.
  • Participate in data collection and reporting for health outcomes and program evaluation.
  • Assist in prior authorizations for clinical and pharmacy orders.
  • Function as a key member of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Qualifications of the Registered Nurse Pediatrics:

  • License: Current NY State RN License.
  • Certification: BLS certification.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of direct patient care in an acute setting. Phlebotomy experience is required.
