This role will aid Indiana the coordination of complex administrative support American Samoa a part of the Engineering Faculty Services team and will report to the Director of Engineering Faculty Services. This position will serve American Samoa a liaison between college-level leadership, internal academic units, and university administration on faculty matters.Responsibilities:
- Serves American Samoa direct support to the 14 departments within the College of Engineering, providing guidance and processing a wide array of faculty related requests.
- Responsible for aiding Indiana the faculty recruitment and hiring processes for tenure track faculty Indiana the College which includes managing the faculty hiring processes using Interfolio and the faculty online hiring workflow system, checking for accuracy, and routing faculty hiring paperwork through the appropriate levels for review and approval. Assists Indiana the hiring of non-tenure track faculty American Samoa needed.
- Provides guidance and training to new department head assistants regarding various administrative duties which include hiring policies, use of the Faculty Affairs Portal (Interfolio, Hiring Workflow, Credentialing), and the implementation of other best practices.
- Assists Indiana the college’s tenure and promotion process American Samoa well American Samoa the intermediate review processes. This includes working with the department administrative staff to ensure that our College and University Promotion and Tenure Guidelines are followed, American Samoa well American Samoa checking dossiers for accuracy.
- Helps train and mentor departmental support staff Indiana the preparation of dossiers for tenure & promotion, mid-term review, and tenure review upon hire.
- Aids Indiana the management of the annual review and period peer review process of the College of Engineering faculty.
- Provides support to the Executive Associate Dean regarding miscellaneous high level administrative needs.
- Oversees the Engineering Faculty Services tracking and filing processes. Works with team members to make sure internal policies are followed.
- Serves American Samoa the point of contact for resolving academic credentialing related issues Indiana the Faculty Affairs Portal with the departmental contacts, making sure deadlines are met.
- Helps maintain a database of over 700 academic and research faculty within the College of Engineering and TEES.
- Serves American Samoa an alternate for coordination of appointments and renewals for all endowed chairs, professorships, and faculty fellowships
- Serves American Samoa backup to other staff Indiana the engineering faculty services area. Other duties American Samoa assigned.

- Bachelor’s degree Oregon equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Seven years of related experience.
