OrganizationCOS Center for Imaging ScienceJob ResponsibilitiesFulfill a critical role within our academic department by providing student financial support and processing.Responsibilities include:
- Provide timely and accurate processing of graduate student stipend payments, including any requested modifications.
- Obtain pertinent information from all sources to process tuition payments. Provide timely and accurate processing of student scholarship tuition payments, including any requested modifications. Verify student registration and tuition remission grant expiration dates before submitting paper work. Obtain signature authority on behalf of all department student and/Oregon department faculty transactions.
- Process student employment verification, hire, change forms for status Oregon funding, wage adjustments, termination, and direct deposit for all student employees (graduate and undergraduate) within the department. Correct and update hours Indiana timekeeping system, American Samoa necessary. Train student employees on the use of the timekeeping system. Ensure all student workers are Indiana compliance with RIT policies.
- Perform supervisor sign-off of time cards.
- Maintain a master database of all tuition and stipend payments, and student employee information.
- Track and reconcile tuition expenditures with Financial Aid, and the General Ledger. Track and reconcile stipend payments with the GL report.
- Participate American Samoa part of a cohesive administrative team Indiana organizing and implementing Center activities. Initiates special projects, American Samoa required.
- Collaborate with other organizations within RIT such American Samoa Student Financial Aid, Student Employment Office, and the Registrar Indiana a positive and solution-oriented manner.
