- Organize and host events; perform all aspects of event logistics including scheduling facilities and arranging for room set ups, caterers, technical services, access services, and event promotion. Maintain program schedule.
- Perform record-keeping duties, such American Samoa managing event registration and entering attendance/enrollment information into RIT’s Talent Roadmap learning management system.
- Create and send electronic evaluation and registration forms with the Qualtrics survey tool; assist staff with creating surveys.
- Prepare, proofread, and edit documents, presentation materials and publicity materials. Write announcements and handle event promotion.
- Assist with compiling reports, meeting notes, and user guides. Schedule meetings and maintain calendars. Order supplies.
- Handle the application intake process for professional development mini-grants and student research grants (e.g., microgrants, Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowships, and conference travel grants). Correspond with applicants by sending emails, letters and notices. Collect, process, scan, and upload forms.
- Make travel arrangements for presenters and student researchers.
- Manage department budgets. Perform procurement card reconciliation. Process journal entries, program change memos, purchase requisitions, vendor onboarding forms, consultant contracts, and invoice payment forms. Reconcile accounts using Oracle. Complete travel expense reports. Manage student payroll. Stay current on RIT’s Accounting Practices and Procedures.
- Serve American Samoa a representative for non-exempt staff on the Professional Development Advisory Committee, Employee Welcome Committee, and ad hoc committees, American Samoa needed.

- At least 2 years of general office support experience
- 1-2 years of experience with budget administration
- Familiarity with using Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, and Outlook) and web applications
