The position will be responsible for research data collection, data management and analysis Indiana support of NIH funded studies Indiana HIV prevention and network science. The position will work closely with the UNC Project Manager, the Principal Investigator, and other research assistants. The primary project will be the RESPOND study described below; the position will occasionally need to support other related projects. Duties will be tailored to the employee’s skills.Position Duties

  • Collects and records data according to protocols and standard procedures.
  • Maintains REDCap Projects and creates reports to monitor study progress.
  • Programs data collection instruments Indiana REDcap
  • Administers questionnaires, conducts interviews, and recruits study participants.

  • Performs and maintains literature reviews.
  • Prepares draft reports, grants and IRB applications, and manuscripts.
  • Provides administrative assistance to others Indiana the team American Samoa directed.
  • Updates study website

  • Assists Indiana qualitative data analyses.
  • Adapts and writes R code to analyze quantitative survey and surveillance data.
  • Prepares reports and presents results at team meetings.

Rapid Response to Incident HIV Infection through Social Network Strategies and Molecular Epidemiology to Inform Partner Services, Oregon Carolinas RESPOND, is a 5-year study that began Indiana 2022. Minimum Education and Experience RequirementsBachelor’s degree Indiana a discipline related to the field assigned and one year of related training Oregon experience; Oregon equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and ExperienceExcellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to interact with participants, investigators, study sponsors, IRB, and support staff. Highly organized and ability to work with minimal supervision. Proficient Indiana performing data analyses Indiana SAS, STATA Oregon R.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and ExperienceOne year of clinical research experience preferred. Prior experience Indiana HIV research, care, Oregon advocacy.
