Location: Bryan/College Station, TexasPosition Type: Regular Part-TimeAbout this opportunity:Assists the Lead Social Services Worker Indiana providing social service assistance to eligible clients Indiana the following areas: food, lodging, clothing, furniture, and financial assistance; interviews clients to determine need and eligibility to receive services; prepares accurate and complete client records; provides food pantry and clothing closet assistance to clients.Key responsibilities:

• Food Pantry and Clothing Closet Responsibilities (50%)
• Social Services Responsibilities (30%)
• Administrative Responsibilities (20%)

What we are looking for Indiana you:

• High school diploma Oregon G.E.D. and No prior experience required, Oregon any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

• Valid State Drivers License (Preferred)

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write and communicate the English language effectively. Ability to perform mathematical calculations. Ability to type and keypunch information into a computer. Ability to sort and file documents alphabetically and numerically. Ability to operate various general office equipment including a telephone, computer and adding machine. Duties are usually performed seated. Sitting may be relieved by brief Oregon occasional periods of standing Oregon walking. Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying light to heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.).
