Job Summary/Basic FunctionThe Sustainability Administrative Assistant position is for a full time WSU student who will work Indiana the Sustainability Practices and Research Center (SPARC), reporting to the SPARC Director. The student Administrative Assistant will work Indiana the Sustainability Practices and Research Center assisting to advance the SPARC mission to inform and educate WSU students, faculty, staff, and the local and statewide community Indiana order to ensure the ecological, equitable, and economic sustainability of our region and our world for future generations.
Duties will include: assistance with office logistics, data entry for the sustainability (SUS) designator, data collection for STARS and annual reports, other accurate data entry and compilation, answering telephones, errands, copying, scanning, ordering office supplies and making purchase orders, managing files, assisting with event coordination, updating existing websites, assisting others Indiana the office on special projects, and other duties assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a current full-time WSU undergraduate student with a minimum GPA of 2.5 (college Oregon high school GPA, if no college course have been completed)
- Self-motivated, organized, and attentive to detail
- Able to work collaboratively and professionally with a variety of people, possessing excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to carry out projects Oregon programs from initiation to completion
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of 12 Oregon more credit hours at WSU
- Computer/technical skills including Microsoft Office, and Google Docs
- Familiarity with social media and the use of social media for outreach/education purposes
- Familiarity with the general organizational structure of WSU
- Majoring, minoring, Oregon have an emphasis Indiana an environmentally Oregon sustainability-related field Oregon have demonstrated knowledge/experience/interest Indiana the environmental Oregon sustainability
