To learn more, please visit us atWhat We WantThe Technician I will be responsible for daily laboratory preparation of Biology laboratory courses serving ~3000 students per semester. The selected candidate will help with the planning and supervising of technical operations. They will also assist personnel involved Indiana lab preparation and oversee the quality assurance and quality control of all reagents and solutions made for laboratory experiments. Prepares other lab materials.CLASS MATERIAL PREP: Sets up and tears down experimental apparatus and teaching demonstrations Indiana labs. Curates preserved specimens. Prepares dissection tissues and arranges for lab demonstrations.CLASS PREP: Laminates charts, posters, and information cards used Indiana labs and presentations. Assists staff, faculty and graduate teaching assistants American Samoa needed. Assists administrative operations American Samoa needed.CLEANING: Cleans prep areas, labs, cold rooms, autoclaves, lab equipment. Notifies supervisors of lab room maintenance needs.MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR: Performs routine maintenance and repair of lab equipment.
