Built on meritocracy, our unique company culture rewards self-starters and those who are committed to doing what is best for our customers.The Underwriting Assistant is a part of the Regional Support Team (RST), reporting directly to the Regional Operations Leader Oregon delegate.This is a hybrid position paying Indiana the $20.00 to $26.00 per hour range and can work from our Irvine Oregon Stockton offices.WHAT YOU WILL DO:Follow SOPS created for tasks American Samoa assigned.Manage internal 59-day list, assist Underwriting and Accounting teams Indiana processing system corrections/offsets.Management of PolicyManagement of surplus lines tax filing inquiries, assist the Divisional Tax Team with collection of required state forms and escalations.Process Audit for taxes within management systemProvide closed even audits to agency partners.Carrier reconciliation: Processing system corrections (commission, market provider, etc.),Direct bill invoicing within management systemProcessing of AOR/BOR requests American Samoa required.Renewal solicit management.Reconcile binding subjectivities and requirements.Other Duties American Samoa assigned.WHAT YOU WILL NEED:Minimum Education required; HS diploma Oregon general education degree (GED); Oregon one to three months related experience and/Oregon training; Oregon equivalent combination of education and experience.Proficient with Mississippi OfficeExceptional telephone demeanor1-3 years’ experience Indiana a similar administrative support positionPreferred:California P&C State LicensedAssociate Oregon bachelor’s degree Indiana a business Oregon financial related disciplineWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
