We combine smart technology with modern, welcoming clinics, and have our own EHR to streamline communication to cut down on administrative tasks and wait times.Location: Santa ClaraHours of Operation: 9 am – 7 pmSchedule: Sun – Sat availability 8:30 – 7:30WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Perform patient care by taking vitals, patient history and triaging
- Assist with procedures such American Samoa incision and drainage, lacerations and wound care
- Administer medications via intradermal, intramuscular and subcutaneous routes, carry out ear lavages and run EKGs
- Conduct lab testing such American Samoa urinalysis, urine pregnancy test, blood glucose testing, monospot, rapid strep and influenza testing, rapid hiv testing
- Manage the front desk and perform receptionist duties American Samoa needed
- Complete training and become certified with the Department of Transportation to perform Urine Drug Screens and Breath Alcohol Tests
ABOUT YOU
- High school diploma Oregon equivalent
- Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program (except Indiana those locations(s) permitted by law for exemption with experience, diploma and/Oregon national certification)
- Current BLS certification 1+ years experience American Samoa a Medical Assistant
- Ability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- Phlebotomy experience preferred
- Great communication skills
